               My 240 hours of internship under Archipelago builders is so educational. Although i only do office work, they let me have site visits whenever there are operations like concrete pouring.

 

                      I am assigned in the estimating office where we are in charge of estimation of the whole building for bidding. Estimation of concrete volume, weight of rebars, area for formworks, plastering and painting are some of the works that are assigned to me. My supervisor and his colleagues are so hospitable.

 

                    In the site (vinia residences) the project manager informed me about important things in the site. the strength and design of concrete, capacity of pump, type of concrete pouring, and many more. it was indeed a very good and informative experience to me and this experience just made my dream for being an engineer even stronger.
